I just played this for a bit, and I have some thoughts:
It's pretty fun, I think the main limiting factor here is lack of variety (which you know, it's not really a flaw, at least it's done whoo!)
Everything feels very smooth and snappy, nice transitions, no stuttering or performance issues (on Xe graphics)
The only bug I noticed was that the player UI stays on the screen when you go back to the menu
There are a couple fundamental visual design issues which you may already know well, but I figured I'd mention them:
There is almost no contrast between the enemies and the background, a simple color swap here would make a big difference in visibility
The shooting and non-shooting enemies look the same other than the gun they're holding - "if it acts different, it should look different" - it would be nice to be able to visually differentiate them a bit easier (shape, color, size, or a combination, for example)
Overall, I like it! I'm jealous because I'm still in the trap of not finishing my games or finishing them just enough to turn in for class and not making time to release them on any platforms... Hopefully some of this feedback is helpful, as I'm sure you probably already know this stuff, but I also wanted to use this opportunity to practice my feedback and constructive criticism, so win-win I guess!
